How to choose swimming pool heat pump?

The heating capacity of the swimming pool heat pump is calculated based on the water volume: the heating capacity of the heat pump needs to cover the product of the total water volume of the swimming pool (unit: ton) and the target temperature rise (℃). The formula is: heating capacity (kW) ≥ water volume (ton) × temperature rise (℃) × 1.16 ÷ heating duration (hour). For example, if a 500 ton swimming pool is heated from 13 ℃ to 28 ℃ (with a temperature increase of 15 ℃), air to water heat pump requires a heating capacity of ≥ 217kW for 48 hours.

Low temperature adaptability

Cold regions (such as Shanxi) need to choose low-temperature aircraft models with jet enthalpy increasing technology, and the COP value at -25 ℃ environment should be ≥ 2.5 to avoid a sudden drop in efficiency in winter.

Conventional models can be selected in warm winter regions (such as Hangzhou), but the operating temperature range should cover -10 ℃~45 ℃. Energy Efficiency Ratio (COP)

Priority should be given to models with COP ≥ 3.0 (1 kWh of electricity produces 3 times the amount of thermal energy). Variable frequency models can save more than 30% energy compared to fixed frequency models and have lower long-term costs. The integrated COP of the three in one heat pump (heating+dehumidification+air conditioning) can reach 6.2, making it suitable for high humidity indoor swimming pools.
